Witney BIC August Round-Up
August has been another busy month at Witney Business & Innovation Centre. From welcoming new businesses and celebrating our customers to supporting our local community and making the most of our flexible workspace, there’s been plenty happening across the centre.
👋 Welcoming new businesses to the WBIC community
We’ve been delighted to welcome 24X7 Ltd, Brooks Cars Ltd and The Parkin Clinic Ltd to Witney BIC this month.
We’re always excited to see new businesses joining our community, and we’re looking forward to getting to know the teams, helping them settle into their new spaces and watching their businesses grow from WBIC.

❤️ Giving back to our local community
Our Witney Food Bank collection continued throughout August, with our reception acting as a collection point for donations.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated. It’s brilliant to see our businesses and customers getting behind local causes and helping support people in our community.
Community is a big part of what we want WBIC to be, and we’re proud to be able to support initiatives like this.

We also had the chance to bring everyone together for our Customer Appreciation Day in August.

With pizza, drinks and plenty of time to catch up with colleagues and fellow businesses, it was a great opportunity to say thank you to the people who make WBIC what it is.
It was a lovely reminder that WBIC is about much more than offices and desks – it’s about the people and businesses that make up our community.
💻 Making workspace more flexible
Our Business Lounge continued to be a focus throughout August, with our flexible coworking memberships now available.
We also held another Free Hot Desking Friday, giving people the opportunity to try out the Business Lounge, work from a different environment and experience the WBIC community.
Whether you need a workspace for one day, somewhere to work a few days a month or a more regular base, we’re continuing to develop the Business Lounge as a flexible option for local businesses and professionals.
⭐ Listening to our customers
August also saw us launch our Google Review Prize Draw.
We’re always keen to hear what our customers think about their experience at WBIC – from our offices and meeting rooms to the Business Lounge and the support provided by our team.
Your feedback helps us understand what we’re doing well and, importantly, where we can improve.
🚀 Looking ahead to September
There’s plenty more to come as we head into September.
We’ll be hosting our Getting Started with AI, Oxfordshire Business Collective networking event on 9 September, followed by the official Business Lounge Launch & Networking Evening on 24 September.
