WBIC Raises £112 for Breast Cancer Awareness
On October 17th, the Witney Business and Innovation Centre came together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a vibrant ‘Wear It Pink’ party. The event was a great success, raising £112 for this important cause.
The centre was awash with pink as members and staff showcased their brightest attire to show solidarity. The highlight of the day was a fun and engaging ‘Guess the Weight of the Cake’ competition, organised by our wonderful receptionist, Laura. The competition added an extra layer of excitement to the event, with participants eagerly placing their guesses. Congratulations to our member from Admiral Leasing, who correctly guessed the weight and took home the prize!
In addition to the competition, we hosted an array of delicious pink-themed foods. Our community members generously donated to enjoy these treats, further contributing to our fundraising efforts.
We are incredibly proud of our community’s enthusiasm and generosity. Events like these not only raise vital funds for breast cancer research but also strengthen our bonds as a community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and donated. Together, we are making a difference.
