David Tomlinson, a seasoned entrepreneur with expertise in building, purchasing, and selling his own businesses, will provide personal insights and practical strategies for exit preparation. David Peddy, founder of SIGH, a company established for the purpose of acquiring other businesses with a long-term exit view, will also share his perspectives.

David Tomlinson, Managing Director, Anda Health

After studying maths at Gonville and Keyes, David started work with McKinsey in the US, travelling widely and maintaining a study programme up to, and including, post-doctoral research. He returned to the UK and headed up Fujitsu and Virgin Media and subsequently moved into building, buying and selling his own companies.

David is now a member of a philanthropic group of individuals, under Anda Health, that are looking to support innovative medical research with seed funding and access to clinical, governance and commercial expertise. Their focus is on Motor Neurone Disease, respiratory diseases, paediatric oncology and antimicrobial resistance. They have a track record of providing seed funding of £350m.

David Peddy, Managing Director, SIGH Ltd

After a corporate career in sales and marketing at AC Nielsen, MÖLNLYCKE and Meadox, David worked with medical device businesses such as Surgicraft, AMBA Medical and Zeppelin. He is an experienced businessman with extensive knowledge of marketing, promotion, pricing, corporate lawyers and business acquisition. David is now a business advisor and helps with growth plans as well as assisting and mentoring in their sale process.
