July Round-Up: Growth, New Faces and Exciting Progress at Witney BIC

From welcoming new businesses into the centre and launching our brand-new Business Lounge memberships to hosting another fantastic networking event and making improvements across the building, it’s been a month full of progress.

As we head into August, we’re taking a moment to look back at everything that’s happened.

Welcoming New Businesses

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing new businesses walk through our doors, each bringing fresh ideas, ambition and a new story to tell.

This month, we were delighted to welcome Whisterfield, Workshop Coffee Ventures and Brooks Cars to the Witney BIC community.

We can’t wait to see what they achieve over the coming months, and we’re excited to watch them become part of our growing community.

Bringing Businesses Together

July also saw us host our third Oxfordshire Business Collective networking event and it’s safe to say these events are quickly becoming one of our favourite parts of the month.

There’s something special about seeing local business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals all in one room, chatting over coffee, sharing experiences and making introductions that could lead to future opportunities.

Every event brings a mix of familiar faces and newcomers, and that’s exactly what we hoped to create when the Oxfordshire Business Collective was launched. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make another brilliant event. We can’t wait to do it all again next month.

A New Way to Work

One of our biggest milestones this month was launching our brand-new Business Lounge Coworking Memberships.

We know that not every business needs a permanent office. Sometimes you simply need a professional place to work for the day, somewhere to meet clients, or an inspiring environment away from the kitchen table.

That’s exactly why we created our Business Lounge memberships.

Members can enjoy a bright, welcoming workspace with high-speed internet, complimentary refreshments and the opportunity to work alongside a community of like-minded professionals. Whether you’re visiting once a week or looking for a regular base, we’ve designed the memberships to be as flexible as modern businesses need them to be.

We’re excited to see this new co-working community grow over the coming months.

Our Customers Have Spoken

One of the highlights of July was receiving the results of our latest Customer Satisfaction Survey, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who took the time to share their feedback.

We’re delighted to say that our overall customer satisfaction score has increased to 98%, up from 94% last year, with our response rate also increasing from 41% to 46%. It’s fantastic to see more of our community sharing their experiences and helping us continue to grow. Even more encouraging, 98% of respondents praised our centre team, highlighting the friendly, supportive service they receive every day.

As a team, we’re incredibly proud of these results. Creating a place where businesses feel supported, welcomed and inspired every day is at the heart of everything we do, so hearing such positive feedback means a great deal to us.

Investing in the Centre

While new businesses and events often take centre stage, we’ve also been busy behind the scenes.

Throughout July we’ve started refreshing parts of our ground floor, including installing new carpets and upgrading office spaces. These improvements are all part of our ongoing commitment to making Witney BIC an even better place to work.

We know that the environment businesses work in matters, and we’re always looking for ways to improve the experience for both our current customers and those who’ll join us in the future.

Looking Ahead

If July has taught us anything, it’s that there’s always something exciting happening at Witney BIC.

August is already shaping up to be another busy month, with our Summer Food Bank Drive, Customer Appreciation Lunch and Google Review Prize Draw all on the horizon, alongside more networking opportunities and continued improvements across the centre.

To everyone who’s supported us this month –  whether you’ve attended an event, moved into a new office, enquired about our spaces or simply followed along on social media, thank you. You’re all part of what makes this community such a great place to be.
