Brewing Connections: Monthly Networking Starts at WBIC
At Witney Business and Innovation Centre, we’re passionate about supporting local businesses – not just with office space and facilities, but by creating opportunities for connection, collaboration and growth. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new monthly networking event, designed to bring together the brilliant people that make up our local business community.
Starting in July, we’ll be hosting Coffee & Connect once a month – a relaxed morning meetup where freelancers, business owners and professionals from all sectors can come together over coffee and pastries in our brand-new Business Lounge.
This isn’t about formal presentations or structured pitches. It’s about creating space for genuine conversations, new introductions and unexpected opportunities. Whether you’re a long-time WBIC tenant, a local entrepreneur, or simply someone looking to meet others in the area, we’d love for you to join us.
As part of the event, all attendees will also be invited to stay and hot desk for free for the rest of the day – a great chance to try out our flexible workspaces and spend more time getting to know the people around you.
Amy Waller the Community Manager at WBIC explains:
“I’m passionate about bringing people together. There’s so much talent, knowledge and potential in and around Witney, and I want to create the kind of space where those people can meet, talk, share ideas, and support each other.
I’ve been running this centre for over two years now, and in that time, I’ve seen our businesses come together to support one another – and more often than not, it’s all started with a small conversation over coffee. That’s why I believe Coffee & Connect is the perfect environment for local businesses to come together.“
