Easter Egg Collection
The Witney Business and Innovation Centre‘s community recently collected around 100 Easter eggs to donate to the Witney and West Oxfordshire Food Bank, which is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks supported by The Trussell Trust. This generous donation will provide families in need with the chance to celebrate Easter together, even during these tough economic times.
The Witney and West Oxfordshire Food Bank is a lifeline for families facing poverty and hunger. They provide emergency food supplies to those in need, as well as support and advice to help people break the cycle of poverty. With the help of generous donations from local businesses and communities, they are able to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Amy, the Community Manager at The Witney Business and Innovation Centre, said, “The donation of Easter eggs is a wonderful example of how our community in the centre can come together to support those in need. By donating just a couple Easter eggs each, the community has helped to brighten up Easter for families who might not otherwise have been able to celebrate. This act of kindness and generosity will have a positive impact on the lives of many people in the Witney and West Oxfordshire area.”
The Witney Business and Innovation Centre’s donation of Easter eggs is a heart-warming example of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in people’s lives. We should all be inspired by this community’s generosity and continue to support local charities and organisations.
